Exhibit design for:
Marmomacc meets design 2007 “The Marble lightness”,
at Triennale di Milano, from 5th june to 13 july 2008

Milano Triennale welcomes the exhibition promoted by Marmomacc dedicated to the lightness of marble. The material, usually linked to the word heavy is dematerialized and shaped by nine international designers in as many prototypes from design firms.

The exhibition is the result of a project launched in 2007 by Marmomacc – the International Exhibition of Stone Design and Technology in Verona – to investigate the relationship between stone and design. The first edition had as its object the lightness.

Designers and companies involved are: Riccardo Blumer with Matteo Borghi for Cedal Graniti, Aldo Cibic for Grassi Pietre, Michele De Lucchi with Philippe Nigro for Piba Marmi, Kengo Kuma for Il Casone, Alberto Meda for Campolonghi, Simone Micheli for Pietra della Lessinia, Marco Piva for Santa Margherita, Denis Santachiara for Testi Fratelli, Tobia Scarpa for Agglonord.
