Terre Mo-Mi: Italian designers for the earthquake victims

Charity auction for the earthquake victims in Emilia Romagna and a bicycle trip to from Modena to Milan and back [Mo-MI] in 24 hours.

On November 24th, 2012 in the Valcucine Milano Brera space, a charity auction with design sketches and works created ad hoc by some of the biggest names of the Italian design, as well as a number of special pieces by the most famous Italian brands.

Among the designers involved: Baldessari e Baldessari, Monica Castiglioni, Aldo Cibic, Matteo Cibic, Lorenzo Damiani, Carlotta De Bevilacqua, Rodolfo Dordoni, Giulio Iacchetti , James Irvine, Kengo Kuma , King e Miranda, Ugo La Pietra, Alberto Meda, Alessandro Mendini, Matteo Ragni, Denis Santachiara.

Among the participating companies: Davide Groppi, Diamantini&Domeniconi, Durmosa, .exnovo, Fritz Hansen, Lema, Magis, Pierluigi Ghianda, Pramaor, Iride Fixed, Moroso, Valcucine, Valsecchi 1918, Cial Consorzio Imballaggi Alluminio.

The raised funds will be donated to the ASSOCIAZIONE SERVIZI PER IL VOLONTARIATO MODENA (VOLUNTEER SERVICES ASSOCIATION MODENA – www.volontariamo.it) for the construction of “the home of volunteerism” of Mirandola (the city severely affected by the recent earthquake) which will become home to social activities dedicated to children, the elderly and the disabled.

HOW? A team of fixy cyclists, led by Iris Fixed Modena, will race from Modena to Milan and back to receive the raised funds check and will deliver it to the association.
