Design movement, 1981 – 1987.

The eighties still remain in my memory as an unforgettable period in which Memphis was one of the main points of refercall, as well for Milano. An exstremely stimulating moment, rich in opportunities, full of energy. The language of my work at the beginning reflected in great part that of my mentor, but in the end it did not corrispond with the “breakage” typical of Memphis at that time, being more oriented towards an idea of equilibrium, harmony, and proportion.
